Topic: Cannabis Packaging and Advertising Laws in the Golden State. 
With Guest Speaker: Stacy Hostetter, Esq. - Associate Attorney with the Law Offices of Omar Figueroa.

Cannabis companies are subject to strict regulations both when presenting and marketing their products. This presentation will cover the California specific packaging and advertising regulations applicable to cannabis products, from mandatory label information to proposition 65 warnings. Next we will examine the federal regulations that are applicable to products made available to the public, including cannabis, with a special eye to the Federal Trade Commission's rules on health claims.

SPEAKER

Stacy Allura Hostetter is an associate attorney at the the Law Offices of Omar Figueroa, a boutique firm specializing almost exclusively in cannabis law. Stacy assists all types of cannabis companies with all their transactional needs, from contract drafting and negotiations to intellectual property. Prior to joining the cannabis industry, Stacy worked in another highly regulated industry - cannabis cousins, the Craft Beer Industry. Stacy earned her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Redlands and her juris doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law.
